Good Moves at Barkantine Practice

We will be launching the Good Moves programme from Social Action for Health at the Barkantine practice for registered patients.

Good Moves is a free 8-week group programme for Tower Hamlets residents living with long-term conditions (e.g. diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular or kidney disease).

The programme supports residents to:

  • Improve healthy eating and portion control

  • Increase gentle physical activity

  • Build confidence in managing their health

  • Connect with peer support and local services

Sessions are culturally sensitive and this session will be run in English however future sessions can be run in other languages.

Who is this for?

Good Moves is for anyone who:

  • Is over 18 

  • Lives in Tower Hamlets

  • Has any of the following long-term health conditions: diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease
